Information on the use of cookies, local storage and analytics cookies that may be added later on the B-Kant Diagnostics website.

## Are cookies used on the website today?

The website's own software does not set cookies. There are no session, membership or advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking or analytics tool is currently used on the website.

The website is served through Cloudflare. If security features such as bot protection or rate limiting are on, Cloudflare may set technical cookies that are necessary for the service to work (for example `__cf_bm`, `_cfuvid`). Cloudflare describes these cookies as strictly necessary to provide the requested service. They are not used for analytics or advertising.

## Theme preference (local storage)

You can choose a light, dark or system theme on the website. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage under the key `bk-theme`. This is not a cookie; it stays only in your browser, is not sent to the server, and is used to remember your preference on your next visit. You can delete this preference by clearing your browser's site data. If your browser blocks storage, your preference is not saved and your device's system theme is used.

## Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): if added

Google Analytics 4 may be added later to turn information such as the number of visitors and page usage into statistics. If it is added, the following rules apply:

- Analytics cookies are set **only if you give consent**. If you do not consent, these cookies are not set and you can use the website in the same way.
- According to Google's documentation, Google Analytics 4 uses the following cookies:
  - `_ga`: used to distinguish users. Its default duration is 2 years.
  - `_ga_<container ID>`: used to persist session state. Its default duration is 2 years.
- These durations are Google's default values; the site administrator can change them.
- Analytics data is processed by Google, and this may involve transfer outside Turkey. When it is added, the transfer section of the Privacy Notice will be updated accordingly.

## How to withdraw consent

When analytics cookies are added, the website will have a link where you can change your consent preference at any time. When you withdraw your consent, no new analytics cookies are set. You can delete cookies that were set earlier from your browser's settings.
